Dog Licenses

Dog licensing is a state law and part of South Hackensack’s rabies control program. Dog licensing ensures that pets have up to date rabies immunizations. Licensing encourages pet population control through the low cost spay and neuter program. Reduced license fees are charged for pets that are sprayed and neutered. Licensing  also has the added benefit of providing an easy way to identify lost pets so that they can be quickly returned to their proper owner.
